It will be a paddle treat for everyone. You can also book a snack, picnic, drinks or buffet, as you like.

We paddle in comfortable and very safe single and double kayaks on the Neckar. The groups are small with a personal touch. The views of the old town and Neuenheim, and of the old bridge and the castle are simply great. Be prepared to be surprised.

The location is of course up to you, but we usually go on the Neckar in Heidelberg because the views of the old town are so nice and the group just have a really cool time on the kayaks. You set the pace, from relaxed to sporty, everything is possible.

Training for beginners and advanced paddlers with a fantastic view

This training course is super suitable for all: For everyone who wants learn the first techniques, or who want to brush up on paddling skills.
This training is put together individually. We learn the most important basics in small groups of 5 to 6 people: forward and, backward stroke, sweep stroke, emergency stop, paddling in a team in a duo kayak, steering strokes and, of course, safety. And only those who want it: capsize and reentry into the boat.
Paddling area is flexible and is agreed with the group. The Alte Brücke in Heidelberg on the river Neckar or Ottenstadt on the Altrhein are ideal for a training that you will never forget.

The medieval town of Ladenburg - just outside Heidelberg - offers an ideal setting for a fantastic kayak tour. Views of near-natural riverside areas on the Neckar alternate with great views of the surrounding landscape and the Odenwald. The gray heron can also be seen frequently. Upstream we will take a break on the shore, before paddling back strengthened and leisurely.

This tour is put together individually. We paddle on the Neckar or on the Althein and learn and discuss current environmental topics such as weather, climate change, natural hazards, nature conservation. We look at protected biotopes and learn how paddlers can behave in a nature-friendly way on the water.
